Transparency in the Municipal Public Management: An Evaluation of Rio Grande do Sul State’s Municipalities

The objective of the present study is to determine transparency level Rio Grande do Sul state’s municipalities, identifying variables that explain it. This a documental and quantitative research, observing most recent information disclosed in websites, if data disclosure correct, through Municipal Public Management’s Transparency Index, as well regression analysis descriptive statistics. In this way, it possible observe municipalities an average transparency. Besides, was observed that, from eleven socioeconomical were analyzed, only five are capable influencing index.
